LABOR DAY WEEKEND, OLD FASHIONED COUNTRY
CARNIVAL – Celebrating some fun-tabulous carnival games to
raise money for “Care Camps.” Try old favorites: Lollipop Pull,
Ring Toss, Coin Drop, Cake Walk, and more! Bring cakes for the
Cake Walk! Volunteers needed to work a booth! Celebrate summer’s
ending, but the fun goes on at Shelby/Mansfield KOA! Kick
back and relax. Tournaments, contests, Face Painting, Glowstick Parade & fun will fill the
holiday! Hayride, Fishing Derby, Pool Party. Swimming pools close on Monday evening.
MONTE
CARLO WEEKEND & NIGHT – Team volleyball, Treasure Hunt,
Ceramics, Bingo, Fun Night at Game Tables for Adults ONLY in the
evening. Kids will have fun all day long.. A
fun weekend for all!
TAILGATE PARTY – OSU
vs. USC – Come prepared to decorate your
site to reflect your favorite football team. Prizes will be awarded for best site. Also
participate in KOA’s first ever “KAMPER BOWL” flag football game! Girls warm
up for our Cheerleading Contest. Then guys and gals prepare for these additional contests:
Field Goal Kicking, Quarterback Throw, Best Cheerleading/Football Costume, Best Pep Rally
group competition! A tailgate potluck will be held – we supply the hotdogs and you bring
your favorite dish. There will also be a Football Scavenger Hunt, Karaoke Contest, and a
good old fashioned Pep-Rally Bonfire.
CAMPER APPRECIATION WEEKEND – We will roll out the red
carpet to say “Thank you for camping with us.” If you have stayed
with us this year for four or more weekends, you will receive one night free, with a minimum of
2 night stay (campsites only), a free mini-golf for the family and pizza party ($).
Get in on the Root Beer Chug-a-lug and Ice Cream Eating contests.

OCTOBER
WITCHNG WEEKEND CELEBRATION I Ghosts, goblins and
Campers, oh my! For a witching good time or a ghostly experience,
camping with us these weekends will be to die for! Make
Scarecrows, Get a pumpkin from Kamper’s Pumpkin patch and enter
our pumpkin decorating contest. Little goblins can enjoy a small
fun maze. Big ghouls can face their fears by finding the way out
of our haunted barn. Enter costume contest then go
trick-or-treating.
